Marriage

Marriage is a very divine ritual in India, it still is the biggest occasion in one's life. I never saw any other event being celebrated in such a grand way like marriage. Think of the Big Fat Indian Weddings, Millions of rupees spent on a single day. So much cost involved and so much attention and care paid into this. This is great....

Ever thought, how many marriages last life time, if they last a life time also... how many couple found their true love in the better half. I just turned around and tried finding out about this. And I found many people's marriages are or will last a life time and some are not, some are unhappy but still living..
No this is not the giving me enough picture, so I classified the marriages happened using time bands.

The Marriages happened during each decade.

The 80's - Marriages:

These are mostly nice to see couples, having children about to get married, these couple have lived their married life and there are very rarely any divorces.

The 90's - Marriages:

These are also nice to see couples struggling to make a mark in the society having children either going to college or just passing out.

The 2000's - Marriages:

There is a mix of good, bad and the ugly ones here. The marriages happened during the last 10 years have more divorces. and one more interesting fact is there are many couples who are living under one roof just for the sake of society after marriage. These people think about the society and kids and anchor themselves to the family system. The Good ones are few who gel well together and live a happy life.

The 2010' - Marriages:

The Ultra latest marriages, mostly love marriages and hip one's. These are looking rosy in many ways, and one good thing about this is people are having choice to select their partners. And things here are very fast :) Love, marriage and divorce... these happen in a span of one year or less also.

The other day I watched a program on Satyameva jayate Hosted by Aamir Khan, speaking about Love Marriages, I am impressed the way the issue of choosing one's better half has been portrayed.

If the Family supports the child any and every problem in this world is just a cake walk.

I would urge all those parents to love your children and let them choose their life partners. Yeah there might be some cases which may fail, but with your support they can stay, as they have lasted during the old days, when there were arranged marriages.

Long live all the Marriages... Happies...

Idle Life...

Simply sitting and spending the days with out any thought... ANY THOUGHT... is being IDLE!

When you loose someone very close to heart, you will be totally lost and stop thinking. Most importantly, you wil feel like leaving this world. Can you do that, NO! we always say that, I cannot live with out you, I will die the day you are not there.... we say these things to the person we love the most. Do we really die the day they are no more with us...Yes, we die - our thoughts die, our soul dies... And we stop thinking about anything and everything. Just our senses work to keep us physically alive. From here takes the birth of Idle life. The life of a retired old person, who does not have anything to do but, remember the good old sweet memories. The hay days when life was full of juice. The regrets of not doing somethings, which would have changed the life and taken a different direction.

Idle life starts the day we dont feel interested in anything...not when you become old...

Humans

Was totally thinking why are we doing anything we are doing in a day! very interesting.. question... after a lot of thought I felt that, we Humans are doing every single small thing to keep ourselves happy. Right from a servant till the president, every one tries to find happiness. If happiness was the final destination, and so why did we invent so much technology and technoogy again to cover up the mess created by the technology.

Tough times for Human civilization are ahead, ust imagine a day when we will be using more and mre technology to keep ourselves alive. The complete complications have started from trying to make our life easy. Right from the invention of wheel till the Rocket. Man invented so many things to find comfort, and happiness. But, have anyone thought that there is no change in the body structure or the body parts...and we can never be able to change that, why... It's God's creation. Can we change anything what God has created! When God created human beings, he knew, Human being's thinking will try to change eerything, and God, every now and then reminds us of his existence, by bringing natural calamities... can anyone control them... can anyone predict them... once an event happens we develop technology to identify, control and monitor it. Can Human Beings... stop a Tsunami, EarthQuake, Volcano Eruption... the answer is a big NO...

Human Race has always been defeated by Nature aka GOD... Some times I feel Humans were happy living in the forest along with other animals. Atleast we were not polluting the environment as much we are doing today.

I always wonder, where are we heading to... Going to work... developing something, a software system or anything.. to make life easy...but.. is it really going to help Human Race in the long vision of life. I always wonder imagining how things will be after 100 years... too much automation, too much shielding from Nature... atlast... one day.. there will not be a single Human left.. and the reason... Human's have developed things to end their Race...

Core Purpose of Life!

What is the core purpose of life? why are we living? what do you leave after you are not in this world? too philosophical questions. :). If we start thinking these things, we will become some saints, preaching. I have been giving a deep thought about this very question - What is the core Purpose of Life? We take birth, grow up, again give birth and die one day, the four stages, very prominent. No one can change this except for very few people who do not give birth. Apart from that, everyone's life is similar. Each of the human beings compete with each other to be either first or to get something. Including people staniding in the queee in a Temple. There also some people set rules to see God. People forget the basic idea of Life - Serve the people around you, and never harm others. Man is a Social being, he lives in a society, taking help from others and giving help. In this process of helping others to get help, he goes to the extremes and when he does not get what he has expected from the other person, he revolts back and tries to get back, what he has given.

The core purpose of life is to just keep giving and dont expect anything in return.

If we are living in this world, just think that you are not going to take anything back with you when you are leaving this world. So free up yourselves with all the earthly things. If they are there, they will be there, else no worries. Live life as it comes, and stop thiking about what will happen if you dont get something. Definitely you will get what you deserve in this world.

Also live your life with some basic ethics of not cheating others, being jealous, and hatred. Love every one, the only reason they behave is out of ignorance. Forgive them and love them for what they are. Jesus is one example, who always loved each one around him, and he became a saviour and God. There are many saints, who have shown the world way of how to live. Religion is foloowing the basic ethics and loving everyone.

Live and Love...

Pain

Pain... is a four letter word, but the effect it has makes you speak 4 million words(Some meaningless ;)). During my college days, walking door to door trying to sell some stuff to the people was very painful, I strained physicall and mentally trying to convince people to buy the stuff. I used to think it is better to sell in a store rather than on road, I tried for a sales job in shoppers stop,(remember i am talking about 1997-98). Very tough to get the job, 3 rounds of interviews and what not...uff.. I failed to get through. Then again back to pavilion. Then one day got an opportunity from BPL,(Those days it is the No.1 Consumer appliances company). I went and again guess what...I failed there also... ooh life is really tough. Managing college in the mornings and working in the evenings, crazy life - no time for girls or even my own friends. But I always recevied respect from all of my friends, as i was working and I had more money than any one around me:). I used to feel very happy for that.

Now when I remeber those days, I feel I was happy working all the day, even though I had 120 problems in a day. I sleep only 6 - 7 hours in a day. And you know what my secret desire is- I want to sleep nonstop for atleast 16 hours, which i could not do till date. :(. Today life is still the same, the only difference is I dont strain myself physically(Am growing old, so god has speared me physically). The problems that I had during those days are very normal if I think about them now, but today what I have are not normal, and as I grow old, these problems would be very normal after 10 years. So God always teaches you, nurtures you physically and mentally to take on some more serious problems ahead in life. We need to always stay calm, and receive them with a smile and say - God, let me handle this pain! Once you start smiling at the pain, everything in this world seems to be fun. Keep enjoying the pain...na..na.. FUN...:D

The Solace

Hope! is one thing which would give some one solace. Have seen life closely from distributing paper handouts on streets many years back till today working on some digital strategy for a Global gaint. Never imagined myself working for a Big MNC and drawing a nice paycheck. The work I do today is some thing more fancied about and the returns are measured and huge, unlike the paper handouts job. The day you start measuring and testing you will feel unhappy, reason- there will be benchmarks and standards set for you to achieve and that builds the pressure. Thats the business part of it. But have you ever noticed that in a way of measuring you are forgetting the principle of KARMA - never expect for your deeds. Do your Job and leave it to god. If we leave it we will never be able to progress in life! Are we challenging god and his principles? not sure. Some one said "Lot of folks confuse bad management with destiny". This applies even for personal life. :) lot of times people say that if fate has written it that way, let it happen. I feel that we have our destiny in our hands and it is really how strong you are, not to accept defeat and keep moving on. Be brave and courageous to think that you will be successful even at the moment of your death. He's the real man of steel nerves, who would keep going on and on against all odds. Find solace in the HOPE that you will be successful in everything you dream of and do. I have a dream of studying my Enginering from JNTU college when i was in my school. Forget about studying at JNTU, i never did my engineering :D. And the surprising thing is I have done my Masters from the same college:) can you believe it. It Happened that i got my Masters from my dream college. Thats how things happen for people who keep thinking that they will be successful one day or other. I still think the same way, and have been successful in getting what i want in life, may be there are delays - they HAPPEN for SURE! All this is because i always find Solace in HOPE. Be strong and have the courage to continue!

Life in Prision

I was just browsing through the internet and found a interesting news today. "Russia may free 45,000 prisoners of second world war". I just smiled for a moment - how crazy this is, first thought flashed was, what would be the age of these people who are in prision for 45 years. If they were prisioned at the age of 20, they would be 65 years old, and what will they do if they come out into this open world. They even can't find where they spent their childhood, and what about thier families, for the rest of thier old age they have to spend searching for thier loved ones and actually thier own identity. I would say it is better to give them death, rather than leave them in this crazy ambitious, selfish world. And what about the technological changes they would see outside. The Internet, the mobile phones, Television, and all the electronic gadgets would drive them crazy. Poor fellows would just keep getting surprised with each day coming to know each new thing. I would be really interested in meeting some of them to listen to thier hearts.
Human Race would end up fighting amogst each other and trying to show off who is great!
